8.14.25 ~ Live the Promise!
Good morning!
It’s not easy! Every time Yahweh wants to implement His plan the adversary has countermeasures. In the end the enemy will not succeed, but sometimes it doesn’t feel that way. Why does He even keep trying? He knows he is a defeated foe. Yet he still goes around as a roaring lion seeking whom he can turn into a ‘fruit smoothie’ (1 Pet. 5:8).
One thing you can count on, as he goes before the throne of God to accuse the brethren (Rev. 12:10) he will always say the truth before the throne, but will always lie to you. He doesn’t have any problem pointing out your shortcomings before the throne…Look at ‘so-n-so’ God. Look what they are doing. Look at that rebellion to your ways. You can’t just sit there and let them get away with that you are a holy and just Elohim/God.
When he ‘whispers’ in your ear it’s all lies (John 8:44). ‘You did it now!’ ‘God’s not going to forgive you on that one’! ‘Wait till the neighbors find out’’! ‘You know that those who do *&(*)^$*# things will not inherit the Kingdom of God’! Buddy, you’re toast! Mine as well get your ‘asbestos’ water skis because it’s the ‘lake of fire’ for you!’ And on and on he goes and we buy hook lines and sinkers every time.
He’ll use temptations, discouragement, distractions, and guilt to rob you of your joy and your focus and usually, he’ll wrap that ‘pig-in-a-blanket’ with a bald-faced lie. Do you know what I mean? Ever been there? Are you there? We all know to stay away from the big ‘sins’, but the enemy isn’t concerned about you and the ‘biggies’, if he can distract you from Kingdom focus (Matt. 6:33).
The church, as a whole, knows this all too well. Especially when it comes to the role of Jew and Gentile coming together as one The NT church started out almost entirely Jewish. Then as the gospel spread outside of Jerusalem the church became predominantly Gentile by population. The environment sought to turn the believers from their biblical Jewish ways and syncretize pagan practices with a biblical veneer.
Fortunately, that trend is changing. Believers all over the world are beginning to return to their roots (Rev. 5:5; 22:16)! They are beginning to return to the lifestyle that produces a living stream of blessing, rather than a stopped up cesspool of curses. People all over the world are beginning to recognize the importance of Torah-based living and the necessity to labor in the Master’s field in order to glean and be part of the redemptive process for the allof mankind.
Who is it that's making the greatest impact with the biblical truth of Torah lifestyle and living for the 'one new man' to be formed? Simple. If we were to put everyone’s lives up on a billboard to see, we’d find, more times than not, it’s the individuals that have been forgiven much, love much (Luke 7:47) and it’s usually those who have come from the ‘leave it to Beaver Cleaver’ households that usually miss the ‘love boat’ of God’s/Elohim’s redemptive plan for all of mankind.
The enemy is defeated and you’ve been given the ability, through His grace, to walk in victory (1 Cor. 15:57,58)! But, be careful. The enemy is relentless. He never grows weary. So, if he can’t get you with his usual schemes (Eph. 6:10-12), then he’ll resort to the spiritual side of your intellect to take you away from the purpose that God has you here right now!
The church, as a whole, has replaced Israel and has appropriated the promise and the blessings. Because God divorced Israel, it is assumed that Yeshua is taking the church as His bride. Don’t fall for it! These individuals separate the church and Israel completely and distinctly. Don’t fall for it! If you are in Messiah, you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the Promise (Gal. 3:27,28). Abraham’s seed is known as ‘Israel’ (Isa. 41:8-16). It is only out of Israel that adoption of sons, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the Torah, and the temple services and the promises come (Rom. 9:4)This flies in the face of the Israel of faith (Rom. 9:6); the Israel of God (Gal. 6:16); the Olive Tree of Romans 11 and Ezekiel 37. It’s forgotten that without us, they can not be made perfect (Heb. 11:39-40).
The enemy is relentless. Whether it’s temptation, discouragement, distraction, or theology that takes you away from the correct mind of thinking…He’s not going to stop until he’s got you. And if you’re experiencing the ‘ringer’ you can guarantee that you’re pretty, ‘rootin-tootin’ important in the mind of God.
The fall feasts are coming and He wants intimacy with you. Be sober! Be vigilant! Your adversary knows his time is short. Therefore, he's very stealth-like, looking for someone to devour (liquefy, like a fruit-smoothie). Stay close to the shepherd during this season! Distractions and other tactics are fair game where the prince of the power of the air rules. You know what they are…be sober and vigilant!
