Good morning!
I have the privilege of attending and learning through participation, a hypnotherapy seminar, facilitated by Chuck Hendrix...It's been and will be a powerful and liberating way to end the work week. BTW, and believe me, it's nothing like the stage hypnotism shows you've seen or participated in! This is an amazing tool in my tool box to help others overcome those 'roadblocks' that keep them from reaching new heights! As a quick note, through the introduction I internalized yesterday, I had a cascade of 'scriptural dominos' topple over....I'm so excited for today! But more importantly, than recognizing truths in God's word and helping others get 'free' it will be the most profound vehicle to pull the 'log' out of my own eye before I do microsurgery on my neighbor (Matt. 7:1-4).By now the majority of Americans have heard of Charlie Kirk's assasination. As I shared with a friend last night, he was a one man wrecking ball of bold, methodical, loving, confrontation against the Kingdom of Darkness that is prevalent in the world and prominently in America.
Without a doubt, the world is under siege with the leftist ideologies and powers that be, using war for profit, reducing the population through big pharma, poisoning our 'edibles', and spreading toxicity through the airwaves.! We're in a heap of trouble.
The world is under tyrannical leaders; it doesn't take a rocket scientist to recognize that. We need marching orders! We need direction. We can't act like the proverbial ostrich with our heads buried in the sand. We've been passive too long! It's past the time to prepare for battle. Slavery is coming. Oops. I mean slavery is here. But psychologically, we've been inundated so much by our surroundings, our terminology, our traditions and the like that we think the status quo is a life of liberation.
What's refreshing and reassuring, no matter how dark life appears, God is still on the move. He's ready to use you! The question will be, who will be your Master (Rom. 6:16,17).
Do you not know that the one to whom you present yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of that same one whom you obey, either of sin [fn]resulting in death, or of obedience [fn]resulting in righteousness? But thanks be to God that [fn]though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that [fn]form of teaching to which you were entrusted, (Rom. 6:16,17)
Periodically, I like to givee you some mathematical equations to make concepts come to life; (e.g. expectation - reality = frustration). Mathematically speaking
Divine providence + plus human agency = the kingdom of God on the move.
Charlie Kirk lived that equation!And just like Charlie Kirk, God expects us to work in the field; but the laborers are few (Lk. 10:2). He will go before us, but expects us to be the vessel to rescue the world from evil. The sooner we recognize this the better.
Thomas Payne, in 1776, penned, '“THESE are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives everything its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated”
This was read by George Washington's Generals to read this to their troops at Valley Forge, during the most difficult circumstances. The rest is history!
We have a text, the Bible, that is given to instruct us on how to overcome the evil of this world. God's ways are completely opposite of the world's systems. If we take the creation message from Genesis 1, we will find the essence on how to defeat the dark powers. The kingdom of God is about creation and society; from chaos to order. When we are not ordered we break down and collapse. As a nation we are falling apart. We're coming apart at the seams. What is needed more than ever is lives of self-sacrifice, self-denial and selfless love. Charlie Kirk, according to God's calling on His life, displayed his unapologetic faith for college students on campuses around the free world, the most brutal battle grounds for the soul, to take the light of an obedient, faith-filled life to change their world.
There is a flood of wickedness being released in the world (Rev. 12:15,16). Humanity is in danger. Do you want to rescue humanity or just go down the toilet bowl with the rest. You must enter the culture and engage in it. We are lights to the world. We are to elevate this world; bring heaven to earth (Matt. 6:10).
As the people of America and the world sees its freedoms being eroded one subtle action at a time, there is no better time to refocus our attention on what Yeshua meant when He said, "If the Son sets you free, you really will be free" (John 8:36). But, we can't quote this as some spiritual quib where reality is far from the statement. We must learn what freedom is and what we've been freed from.
Slavery is the key to freedom? It sounds like an oxymoron, or you may think I'm a moron to suggest it, but Scripturally, it's a complete reality. It doesn't sound politically correct in our increasingly 'woke' society, but then again, our Bible is not a politically correct document. It's God's view, not ours. What is freedom from God's perspective?
I want to be released from the prison of my evil inclination/yetzer ha'ra. This is the enslavement that we all experience. This freedom will come as a result of both God and ourselves working diligently. The key to overcoming the #1 nemesis in our life is to become a slave; to submit to a higher authority.
Freedom is an oxymoron. It requires exactly the opposite—slavery...voluntary slavery. It's not the slavery we experienced in Egypt! Oh no, it's a willingness to put my desire, my actions, and my decisions in the hand of the Lord/Yahweh. Freedom is God's business and obediencebelongs to us. As was demonstrated by my biblical hero Ruth, Orpah went back to her slavery and Ruth chose to be enslaved to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; the God of Israel.
But Ruth said, “Do not plead with me to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you sleep, I will sleep. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. “Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD do so to me, and worse, if anything but death separates me from you.” When she saw that she was determined to go with her, she stopped speaking to her about it. (Ruth 1:14-16)
How does the Son make us free? Through slavery to another master. Our former master and our current tyrannical leadership are despots at best. They never cared for our well being. They only used us for their pleasure and narcissistic ways; doing whatever they could with our lives to get their way. We were nothing but chess pieces in their attempt to get God's King checkmated, in this game we call life.
Our new master is still a master, but He's a benevolent, sovereign ruler. He's in full control of every detail of life with mercy and truth. He's willing that none would perish, leading us to serve Him with hope, not compulsion.
We are oxymoronically free. We no longer have to be a slave to our yetzer ha'ra. But we will be enslaved until we submit ourselves to the instructions of the new Master (Prov. 16:3).
You've been prayed for that you'll join with others to go out and engage this world (Lev. 26:8).

We've had a real 'life model' on how to confront the corrupt system of this world that actually named an entire month 'pride month' in celebration of the LGBTQi people. It's time we put pride in its rightful place (Psa. 34:2; 44:8).
My soul will make its boast in the LORD; The humble will hear it and rejoice...In God we have boasted all day long, And we will give thanks to Your name forever. Selah (Psa. 34:2; 44:8)
