9.14.25 ~ Imagination

Good morning!

Along with 5 other people, I just finished a 3 day practical seminar to become a certified clinical hypnotherapist. As I shared during one of the sessions, the Lord God, through the information shared and experienced, opened my eyes to the world that I knew intellectually and Scripturally, but had never purposefully stepped into.

Reality says that 99% of our behaviors are subconscious.  The advertising world, the tv PROGRAMS, church services, your dreams,  roadblocks in performance, battle between flesh and spirit, subliminal communications to convince someone of your point all happen strategically on the subconscious level.  The subconscious is all about your imagination. And for too many of us, speaking of me, myself and I, what is deeply entrenched in my mind has hindered me from a deeper walk in Messiah Yeshua.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh,
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
(2 Cor. 10:3-5)

These few days, besides finding example after example in Scripture of deep sleep/tardaymaw hypnosis (Acts 10, Gen. 2:21, Gen. 15:12; 1 Sam. 26:12; Job 4:13; 33:15; Prov. 19:15; Isa. 29:10; etc.) , has been an 'eye opener' for me and has helped me understand why my will power gives into the subconscious time and time again; it sure explains unexplainable behaviors :-) Do you see what I'm saying? Are you hearing me? Can you feel it? I can surely taste and see how good God is by making us in His image; a Creator.

This morning I want to take your mind back to last week's shooting of Charlie Kirk and connect some dots for you into our own lives.

In the Scriptures regarding the story of Noah (Gen. 6:5-11:32), we know that the earth is filled with violence/Hamas.

"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually...the earth was also corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence...And God said unto Noah, the end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them and behold, I will destroy them with the earth."
(Gen. 6:5, 11, 13)

Up until this past week many of us used to think of Hamas as a group of terrorists that go around cutting people's heads off if their ways aren't submitted to. And as true as that is, there's more to the story.

We discovered that much of the church as we know it is promoting hamas. Huh? How? It's an eye-opening question.

Ezekiel 22:26 tells us, that the spiritual leaders of Israel who profaned the holy things of Yahweh, made no difference between the holy and the profane, shown no difference between the clean and the unclean and have hid their eyes from the Sabbath are promoting hamas/violence because they are opposing the Torah, the revelation of love.

In Zephaniah 3:4 the spiritual leaders of Israel had polluted the sanctuary because of their behavior outside the sanctuary; oppressing the poor,  rejecting correction, not trusting Yahweh and not drawing near to Elohim (3:1-3). Consequently they have done Hamas to the Torah.

In Jeremiah 22:3 Yahweh tells us that  hamas has been done to the poor, the stranger, the fatherless, the widow, and shedding innocent blood through the neglect of the Torah, which teaches us to take care of these people.

This is painful and eye opening! What a discovery. What a reality. What a wake up call for us to stop pointing the finger at someone else and recognize that our Torahless lifestyle lived out in the community, towards the poor, the stranger, the widow, the fatherless, and taking advantage of people is creating hamas. What a humbling reality to recognize that when we are teaching, as a priesthood (1 Pet. 2:5-12; Lev. 10:10), and we don't make a difference between the holy and profane, the clean and unclean that we are actually instructing people in ways that produce hamas; and it shows (guilty as charged!)

And because iniquity/lawlessness will abound, the love of many will become cold.(Matt. 24:12)

Yeshua said, as it was in the days of Noah, hamas/lawlessness, coldness of heart towards the needy, not seeking Yahweh according to His Ways, so will it be in the coming of the Son of Man.

We need to open your eyes to the hamas within Yahweh's family. We need to open our eyes to our own behavior. We are here!

If the Torah is summed up in one word, love (Gal. 5:14), then it's obvious to see what brings about hamas and cold hearts towards one another in these present days.

Most people are concerned about hamas. What they don't realize, in their self-preservation mindset, is that they are condoning hamas without realizing it and it shows within the body of Messiah...hamas words of slander, hamas behavior, and hamas filled teaching to a generation that is learning very well to do what they see, not what they hear.

Maybe I'm just imagining it?

Happy first day of the week! The fall feast season is just a couple weeks away!

Chag Sameach/happy feasting!

Shalom,
Alan

Shabbat morning zoom call: Both the blessings and the curses prove God's faithfulness. Which will I consciously choose to walk in?
