9.24.25 ~ 10 Days of Too Wonderful

Good morning!

A couple of weeks ago I had share with you some thoughts about four concepts in scripture that are too wonderful. With Yom Teruah/shouting-trumpets, Having finished we found ourselves in what I called the 10 days of awe. 10 days of deep introspection, like the days of unleavened bread, research our lives for any areas that are left undone so that when the sealing takes place at Yom Kippur we can launch into the feast of tabernacles and beyond pure and white.

From Passover toShavuot, There is a wonderful focuson the book of Ruth. In times past, we haveexamined the importance of the faith-filled, grafted-in Gentile who would restore the heart of the ‘bitter’ Jewish woman Naomi and be the means of redemption through the birth of Obed. We followed that up by walking with the ‘King in the field’ during the Sixth month on God‘s prophetic calendarand we prepared our hearts for Yom Teruah and the sign of Revelation 12. Last night, I had the opportunity to celebrate with beautiful people here in Stanton Michigan. Our time together in the word and feasting while enjoying the company of one another was memorable.Currently, In the day after,we are in the 10 days of awe, heading towards Yom HaKippurim, the Day of Coverings; aka the Day of Atonement. These days focus on intimacy collectively. During this timeThe Bridegroom will continue to woo us and prepare our hearts for more covering.

It’s a time of wonder! It’s like the eagle in the sky, or the serpent on a rock, or a ship in the middle of the sea or like the way of a man with a young maiden (Prov. 30:18-19)…too wonderful!

Like the four wonderful examples in Proverbs 30, there is a goal with the Day of Coverings/Yom HaKippurim. An Eagle rides upon the currents of the wind to find food, but sometimes it just enjoys soaring on the rising thermal winds/ruach. The serpent will travel upon the rock to get it’s food, but often just sunbathes to thermoregulate it’s body temperature and provide energy to move forward. The ship in the middle of the sea has no bearing of land, but must rely upon the constellations to navigate through the night to its destination. The way of a man with a young maiden is just as beautiful and mysterious. How does he do it? With kind words or perhaps little tokens and gifts. He connects with her emotions to make her happy. He does so with the sole purpose of connecting with her heart! It’s not easy, but in time he finds ‘the favorable winds’ to soar on to make her happy (Deut. 24:5). Sometimes there’s a lot of things that have to be worked through but in time she learns to relax and ‘bask in the warmth’ to enjoy something that feels good and energizes. There may be ‘dark times in the night’ that have to be navigated, but the lover is persistent and finds his way with her.

The eagle may appear to be only enjoying the ruach but, is always looking for opportunities. Snakes appear to have a lot of wasted motion moving sideways, but actually they are always moving forward. Avoid the ‘serpent talk’ as the snake did with the woman in the garden. Ships often have to change their path because of inclement weather. Whether the woman is experiencing niddah or at the height of fertility, hormones, like the weather are always changing.

An eagle eye will always find ways to bring her joy. Physical contact is not always required for intimacy. Always engage the heart, for her best interest, and the intimacy wills soar.

These four examples of wonder are linked for a reason. These four are physical examples of how the Heavenly Father approaches us during this time of year. He understands our ‘hormones’. He understands the storms of life and the need for a change of course. He knows how to warm us appropriately and teach us to soar and He knows His way with us as His bride. It’s the season of Yom HaKippurim/Day of Atonements/coverings. It’s a wonderful time of awe and mystery. He’s ordained it that way to capture our hearts and long for intimacy beyond our wildest dreams.

During these 10 days of awe, May we all find a deeper completeness in him!

Chag Sameach!
Shalom!
