2.12.26 – Winter Months, Part 2
Based on the response from yesterday's study on "Winter Months," I would have to say that God's prophetic patterns run 100% true again.
Siege Test
The Hidden Growth Test
And today...
The Concealed Miracle Test
This is the month of Purim, the story of Esther. And here is what many did not know: Yahweh's name never appears in the book of Esther—not once. It is the only book where God's name is completely absent. According to those in the know, this was intentional because the twelfth month (Adar) is the month of hidden miracles, where deliverance comes through natural means of God's providence. It looks like divine intervention that the world calls luck.
This twelfth month is the climax of all months, where everything hidden comes to light and/or deliverance arrives at the last possible moment (Esther 4:14):
"For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
(Est. 4:14)
This time of year is not for the faint of heart. It is the season, moment by moment, when everything looks lost, when the decree is written, when the gallows are built—that is when Yahweh has you move through the door that He has unlocked.
Here is the secret that these three months reveal: Yahweh tests your faith differently in winter than He does in the harvest of early fall. In that season, you felt the wind of the Spirit moving, the shin-fire burning. His connection felt tangible. But now comes the siege. Now comes the underground season. Now comes the concealed miracle. And here is what this means for you personally: January through March 2026 will reveal whether you build your faith on feelings or on God's character.
If you only trust Him when you feel Him, the feeling will break you.
If you only believe His promises when you see progress, you will be convinced He has abandoned you.
If you only recognize miracles when they are dramatic and public, you will miss the concealed deliverance He orchestrates in the dark.
This is not punishment; it is preparation! Before Passover comes the testing. Before the exodus comes the plague of darkness and the midnight hour. Before resurrection comes the tomb. Do not be dismayed; you are not losing ground, you are being established. The roots are meant to go deep in winter so the fruit can grow strong in the summer.
The question that inquiring minds want to know is: "How do you not just survive these months? How do I actually emerge from them transformed?"
If you would like to know, let me know, and I will share with you solid practices to thrive—not just survive.
Happy fifth day of the week! It is time to grow those roots deep!
Shalom,
Alan
