9.15.26 – Sacrificial Knowledge

There are seven Spirits burning before the throne of God (Rev. 4:5–6). They are revealed to us in Isaiah 11:1–2, and they are defined all throughout the pages of Scripture to enlighten us on how the "light of the world" is supposed to live, filled with the Spirit of God (Eph. 5:18–20; Col. 3:16–17)!

The seven Moedim, the seven days of creation, the seven churches, the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven bowls reveal the depth of the seven Spirits that actively function within each of the aforementioned!

The sixth Spirit, Da'at, is identified with the Day of Atonement(s)/Coverings/Yom HaKippurim. It is a day of knowing intimately. It is more than sexual intimacy. It is really knowing an individual intimately. It is a loving knowledge so deep that it accompanies only the closest of relationships—those in unity—just as Adam declared concerning his bride, "She is bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh" (Gen. 2:23; Eph. 5:30).

This Spirit of Knowledge/Da'at is Yeshua's love that would rather suffer for the Bride and cover her with His own blood than allow her to take the judgment and suffering for her own guilt. This is the Day of Atonement(s). This is the day of Covering(s). This is Yom Kippur.

It is about relationship. It is about intimacy. It is about sacrifice. It is Messiah modeling sacrificial love for the man to procure both physical and spiritual intimacy in relationship (1 Pet. 3:7).

On the sixth day of the creation story, we find Adam intuitively able to name (shem) the animals by watching their behavior. Yeshua, the second Adam, peers into my heart to let me know my "name" (shem)—my characteristics and how I function within His Kingdom. Instead of naming me like an "animal" or "beast," He identifies me as a "Son."

These Ten Days of Awe leading up to Atonement utilize the Spirit of Da'at to patiently work with me and build understanding in the relationship so that eventually and intuitively He knows the heart of the bride—her name. She will respond to His spoken word. It is His love that goes beyond the physical and the obvious. It is deep sacrificial love… a love unto death.

His love is about cultivating an intimate relationship for the good of the other. It is only achieved through experience and selflessness. This is the heart of Da'at. This is the heart of Yom HaKippurim!

The Spirit of Da'at is a deep, mature love that exhibits an awareness of the needs and desires of another. It is shown in restraining words, a controlled spirit, and understanding (Prov. 17:27). It is a love that covers faults and sins! It does not blame! It repents or grants forgiveness to heal and restore. It always helps and comforts. It produces self-discipline in words and deeds. It intuitively makes relationships good! It sees and seeks the best in others, and it nurtures and cares for the creation. He modeled it for us at Yom HaKippurim and gives me the opportunity to live it for one another.

We are in the middle of walking through the Ten Days of Awe. The last thirty days with the King were spent walking in the field, which was about pure intimacy and releasing those things that might have been hindering our relationship. These ten days are to deal with anything that was not dealt with during that month.

4.4.26 ~ Can You Count to Three?

Today, Saturday 4/4/26, many will celebrate the day that Yeshua was visibly seen risen from the grave (John 20:1; Matt. 28:1–10; Luke 24:1–10)! The day after His resurrection, Yeshua would be out ministering to the doubts of His disciples, helping them realize that He is alive and that the purpose of His resurrection would be catalyzed by their lives. For the disciples closest to Yeshua and those who stood at a safe distance away, it was a time of doubt. The enemy was in hot pursuit. They were fearful for their lives, but just at the God-appointed time, their salvation appeared.  Does that sound vaguely familiar? It should. Earlier this week, on the day after Passover—the 15th of the first month—the natural-born Israelites and those who joined them through the blood of the Lamb exited Egypt and headed toward the sea.
